Winterset Montessori is a family-owned childcare facility in Lee's Summit. We are proud to serve our local families and provide a safe learning environment for their children!

We are now hiring a full-time relief teacher for our infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms. We are seeking a patient, energetic, and loving individual who has a passion for Early Childhood Education. Previous experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!

Responsibilities:

• relieve teacher's during their lunch breaks (needs of the business will dictate which classrooms you will be covering during the day)
• ensure safety of all children in your care
• light classroom cleaning
• provide age-appropriate activities
• communicate with parents during pick-up time regarding daily activities

This position has a fixed schedule, Monday-Friday. Full-time employees work 35-40 hours per week.

We offer reduced childcare tuition for children of employees. We are closed on weekends and closed on all major holidays, including Christmas Eve and the day after Thanksgiving. Full time employees receive paid holidays off and paid vacation time.
