What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Relocation Assistant Manager within our ALE division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in St. Charles, Ill. In this role, you will lead and support the daily operations of the Relocation Department, working closely with the Relocation Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. You will report directly to the Relocation Manager and regularly collaborate with various departments.

As a Relocation Assistant Manager, you will be expected to work in an office environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:
  • Assigned workspace in St. Charles, Ill
  • Company-issued equipment + remote access
Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Assisting the Relocation Manager in planning and implementing departmental goals, objectives, and strategies
  • Monitoring departmental performance against key performance indicators and provide regular reports to stakeholders
  • Supporting recruitment and training activities, including identifying staffing needs
  • Managing daily operations of the department including production and inventory management including cycle time, conversion rate, and prioritization to maintain service targets
  • Managing performance and development of direct reports to reach individual and team goals including productivity and departmental procedures
  • Acting as a point of contact for escalated issues and resolve in a timely and professional manner.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implement appropriate changes to improve departmental performance
  • Ensuring all staff comply with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
  • Handling other duties as assigned by the Relocation Manager
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Insurance Housing or a related field
  • Preferred experience in housing rental short-term and mid-term rental markets and contract review
  • Fluency in basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other office applications, Customer Relation Management systems and other relevant software
  • Analytical skills including basic data analysis and reporting
  • Strong business acumen with the willingness to act in partnership with management teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Possess high integrity, customer focused, self-driven, results orientated, positive attitude, reliable, strong business acumen, disciplined, and dedicated
