Job description

We are hiring for a full-time contract school psychologist for a school district in Wyoming for the remainder of the 22-23 school year with the potential to continue in the fall. Responsibilities include virtual screenings, initial and re-evaluations for special education, meeting attendance, and potential counseling services. Assessments may be academic, behavioral, risk, case studies, or record reviews. Will participate as a part of an IEP team. Additional duties may include consultation, counseling for students with psychological services listed on IEP, and case management. Entirety of work is done remotely, but you MUST have certification in Wyoming as well as your state of residence.

Experience:

• 1-3 years school psychologist experience (required)
• 3-5 years school psychologist experience (preferred)
• 2+ years telepractice experience (preferred)

Licensure/Certification:

• Valid Wyoming DOE school psychologist certification (will accept applications submitted within first two weeks of hire)
• Masters degree or higher in graduate program following NASP curriculum guidelines (required)
• NCSP (preferred)

Skills:

• Attention to detail and organization
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially through phone and email
• Strong problem solving skills for educational evaluations and assessment interpretation
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proficient computer skills
