OneSpan's Customer Experience department is looking for a Renewals Specialist (NA) to join the team in North America.
This is a remote position, open to those located in North America or Canada- supporting clients in those geographies.
This position has its primary focus on contacting our existing customers to ensure that their contract renewals are done prior to the expiration date. It also involves building trustful relations with the customer, as well as quoting, cross and upsell.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately track and manage all renewal-related activities in the CRM system (Salesforce).
- Proactively contact our customers to ensure customers have the opportunity to renew before their contract expires and to make sure to be producing competitive renewal quotes. This includes working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to understand their requirements and respond appropriately.
- Taking ownership of the contracts assigned to you. A strong sense of urgency is required to manage your territory resulting in full value, on time renewals.
- Consulting with internal sales teams to prepare renewal quotes, overcome objections through process of negotiation and adjust quotes as required to ensure the competitiveness of the solution being presented to the customer.
- Becoming a trusted advisor for the Customer for their support needs.
- Consistently looking to enhance the renewal process and procedures
- Achieving renewal targets & being able to forecast with accuracy
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in this role
- Being systematic and organized with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively (to meet deadlines related to the renewals)
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and independently, to achieve goals.
- Experience with or a strong willingness to learn about managing subscriptions and maintenance renewals.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to listen and understand client needs and being able to build a good relationship with them.
- Experience with or not afraid to work in a fluid organization that is ever growing and changing
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in the SaaS/software domain
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. SalesForce)
