JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Rental Lead
Reports To: Rental Manager
Department: Rental
Classification: Seasonal Full-Time
FLSA: Non-exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Assist the Retail Manager in leading the daily operations of Hoback Sports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in hiring, training, managing, and motivating a rental staff.
- Open/Close Hoback Sports
- Work weekend shifts
- Maintain efficient daily operations of Hoback Sports Rental department.
- Work with sales staff to ensure proper cash handling and charge procedures are in compliance.
- Execute daily operations of Hoback Sports including morning meetings, opening/closing procedures, daily sales goal, and key holder.
- Assist rental department during high customer volume periods
- Assist in processing customer special orders, warranty returns and damages
- Assist in executing store sales and promotions.
- Assist in processing store transfers.
- Merchandise new products and facilitate back stock/restocking.
- Work with rental manger to maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist in all sales training and up selling techniques.
- Facilitate morning sales goals and go over any new retail information
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
- Assist in management of floor needs, sales training, discounts, pricing, organization and cleanliness
- Keep retail display fully stocked
- Ensure thorough execution of daily cleaning checklist
- Master cleaning checklist - in charge of daily cleanings
- Complete bimonthly cycle counts
- Assist in processing store transfers
- Assist in inventory preparation and completion
- Assist in processing customer special orders
- Assist Rental Manager in managing validity of account charges and discounts
- Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job-

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Basic knowledge of the ski/snowboard/cycling industry and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong people management skills
- Strong computer skills
EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
- N/A
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of previous ski/snowboard/bike experience preferred
- Guest service & rental experience preferred
