Job Summary
The research assistant will work with the principal investigator and study team to implement research study protocol that focuses on helping families in rural communities combat type 2 diabetes. The primary goal of the research assistant is to develop and execute recruitment strategies and recruit study participants to meet study enrollment goals.

Other major responsibilities include enrolling and consenting participants, assist with data collection, which includes data from participant interviews and survey data. The research awill also be responsible for communicating with the institutional review board, regarding study approval, study modifications, and continuing reviews.
