Summary

A Reservations Coordinator is responsible for reservations duties, including handling guest room reservation requests for the hotel and managing the systems interfaces. They provide our guests with hotel facility information, answer questions relating to local area and guests pre-arrival, in-stay and post-stay needs, coordinate special requests, manage balancing inventory, entering group rooming lists and group contracted blocks, set up special billing requests, and other duties as assigned. Additionally, this position is responsible for answering all in-house reservations calls, handling guest e-mail requests, faxes, and taking messages. The Reservations Coordinator will also support the Front Office Upsell program. This position will be an extension of the Front Office and supported by the Revenue Division to work with all systems required to execute the reservations process successfully. Systems include: Reserve, Opera, OTA extranets, Microsoft Office, Hyatt’s Revenue Management Tool and Group Reservations Tool.


Qualifications

  • Must have strong typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor.
  • Must work well under pressure.
  • Customer service experience and excellent communication skills required.
  • Schedule flexibility required.
