We have an excellent opportunity currently for an experienced reservations agent to join an award-winning Hotel in Galway. The ideal candidates will have previous reservations experience – preferably within a hotel environment with Opera experience, though this is not strictly essential. Hotel Reservations experience with excellent references and flexibility in regard to hotel shift work requirements. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to start a new chapter with a vibrant team!

Duties include.

• Providing consistently high standard of customer service
• Liaising with key clients and guests to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Greeting guests in warm and friendly manner
• Correct recording of reservations, ensuring rooms are correctly allocated as per guest's requirements.
• Answering switchboard and telephone in a friendly, professional manner and dealing with requests and hotel/restaurant reservations
• Promoting and selling the hotel's facilities at all times –
• General day-to-day administration
• Effective communication with other employees to ensure the day-to-day business runs smoothly

Essential;

• Previous reception/reservation/ customer service experience
• Opera /Opera Cloud experience preferred though not essential.
• Fluent spoken and written English essential.
• Ability to Multi-task in busy environment
