We are seeking individuals with Multi-Family experience and/or Custom Home building experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Create and execute project work plans and make appropriate revisions to meet changing needs.
● Build out project schedules and maintain them weekly, in company project management software.
● Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.● Manage day-to-day operation aspects of a project and scope.● Daily site visits to ensure all aspects of the project are being completed.● Manage and execute estimating and pricing aspects of projects, including creating realistic and comprehensive estimates and executing change orders and pricing as needed
● Implement and enforce job site safety standards per OSHA and company standards.● Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.● Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.● Develop cost-effective plans and schedules for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources to ensure project baseline schedules are met● Select and coordinate work of subcontractors working on various phases of the project.● Oversee performance of all trade contractors and review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.● Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.● Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims and take proactive steps to correct before they become an issue.● Responsible for ensuring that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule and project profitability forecast, monitoring the progress of construction activities on a regular basis and holding regular status meetings.
● Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking of team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
● Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.● Report to owners and director of construction about progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Prefer a graduate of a four-year degree program in Engineering, ConstructionManagement or Construction Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
● Minimum of 5 years of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity in new construction and/or remodeling projects.
● Computer literate and familiar with project management software and Microsoft Suites of programs. Able to use technology to increase efficiency in job management.
● Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
● Previous experience with and ability to develop accurate project estimates and pricing reports.
● Good oral and written communication skills.● Outstanding customer service skills and a desire to provide Top Level service to the end user.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
