Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking Full-Time Respiratory Therapists to join our team!

Up to $10,000.00 sign on bonus with 2 year contract!!

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing professional respiratory care through assessment, clinical judgement, treatment and instruction to any population group in need. The position is also responsible for providing certain cardiac and diagnostic procedures that will assist in providing quality care to the patient.

Respiratory Therapist Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree Required.

Respiratory Therapist Certification: Holds a current national credential for Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) unless received credentials prior to year 2002, then not required but preferred. Holds a current Tennessee Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist license. Must hold a current BLS card. ACLS, PALS and NRP are -required unless PRN employee then NRP is desired, but not required.

CRMC requires proof of all educational requirements be presented during the pre-employment process. If an offer of employment is extended, please be prepared to bring your original diploma to the pre-employment paperwork appointment.

Respiratory Therapist Experience: Hospital experience with medical/surgical, pediatric, neonatal and critical care patients preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Additional skills in ECG and other diagnostic procedures.
