Established in March 2012, The Dirty Buffalo brings the taste of Western New York to Norfolk, Virginia! We are a family-owned, full-service restaurant specializing in authentic Buffalo-style chicken wings, specialty subs and the popular “Dirty Plate.” The Dirty Buffalo is growing quickly and has achieved several awards, including Small Business of the Year (2019). We were also recently featured on Food Network's
Diners Drive-ins and Dives and Travel Channel’s
Food Paradise.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for all aspects of restaurant management during his or her shifts to include both Kitchen and Front of House operations. He or she will oversee all aspects of the business to ensure that Brand Standards and quality are met.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Excellent leadership, communication, sales and guest service skills
- Strong creative thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organized, efficient and results driven
- Self-motivated, professional, and business oriented
- Night and weekend availability
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all employees, services, and operations at the restaurant
- Consistently deliver incredible guest service experiences by offering knowledge, advice, and answering all questions and concerns
- Monitor employee work and provide frequent progress reports in order to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency
- Oversee and execute all training initiatives and expectations
- Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws
- Communicate and maintain good relations with all vendors and reps
- Keep a safe and clean workspace at all times
- Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools, and/or processes that can benefit the company
- Must have the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with other members of the team
