Job Summary:

Retail Hosts are responsible for the park retail location they are assigned to. They are also responsible for providing top quality guest service, as well as follow proper cash handling procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet all Guests entering Retail Stores
• Work in a fast paced, high-volume, and exciting environment
• Positively interact will all guests and provide exceptional guest service
• Operate Point of Sale Systems to process sales at locations
• Be aware of store security and communicate possible theft concerns with Management
• Be knowledgeable regarding park policies in order to answer questions from Guests
• Continually monitor the cleanliness within the assigned area
• Stock bins, shelves, walls, fixtures, and displays consistently throughout shift
• Check in shipments utilizing a merchandise pick ticket
• Ensure safety within the store by communicating possible concerns
• Follow correct cash handling procedures
• Must follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by your Leadership Team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Display a willingness to learn.
• Ability to establish priorities, works independently, and proceeds with objectives without supervision.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematic functions (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) in order to properly account for daily sales, and calculate sales goals.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.
• Physical exertion such as frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping and reaching overhead.
• Standing and walking for long periods on surfaces such as uneven surfaces and hard flooring.
• Varying work hours extending up to eighteen (12) hour workdays under some circumstances.
• Working out of doors in all weather conditions in a wide range of temperatures.

Safety:

• Promote and practice safe work practices at all times.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
• Adhere to company, state and federal safety standards and regulations.
