This role is responsible for assisting in the Banks Product Oversight and Governance through Post Implementation reviews (PIR) and Product Monitoring reviews. Each review examines products through customer experience, conduct risk, regulatory, and commercial lenses to ensure that the product is operating as we have led customers to expect and is aligned with the Bank¿s ¿Fair Customer Outcomes¿ strategic priority. This role will also be responsible for assisting management in completing other risk management activities as required, for example, business unit control testing.


Responsibilities:
  • Work with the colleagues across the team to complete various risk management activities, including the end to end Scheduling and Prioritisation process for PIRs and Product monitoring;
  • Gather and analyse information and material pertinent to understanding the products and processes to enable the completion of reviews and tests;
  • Assist in developing the scope for each review / test;
  • Complete clear and concise reports on risk management and oversight activity within agreed timelines;
  • Collaborate with partners / colleagues s to agree actions, materiality and closure dates for review / test findings;
  • Support in the oversight and management of open and overdue actions across all reviews / tests completed to date;
  • Complete other risk management activities as required and support other areas of the function as required.
  • Assist management in promoting and embedding a strong risk culture across teams
Requirements:

  • Good analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to engage and influence
  • Consistent track record of working on own initiative.
  • Experience writing concise and comprehensive reports.
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail.
Desired
  • Experience working in a multi-skilled, target driven, fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Group internal controls framework as well as quality assurance.
  • Conducting surveys and analysing their results
  • Knowledge of the Group products.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation (e.g. Consumer Protection Code, Data Protection Act)
  • Working knowledge and experience in the use of bank software platforms (Unibanks, SMART, TSYS, Hogan, etc.).
  • Consistent record of high personal performance and achievement in delivering on objectives and expectations
