Hiring Retail Sales Associates to work in Western and Fashion Footwear/Headwear brick-and-mortar
stores that sell Footwear and Headwear directly to customers. They are responsible for ensuring customers
have a positive and productive experience while in the store, by helping when needed and keeping the store
looking clean, orderly, and well-stocked. They may also write reports or handle inventory and deliveries,
depending on the size of the store and the needs of the retail location. Most Retail Sales Associates perform a
variety of duties that can shift day to day depending on the needs of the store.
What are the daily duties of a Retail Sales Associate? In a day, Retail Sales Associates can expect to perform a
number of different tasks. Usually, Retail Sales Associates arrive at their place of business before the store
opens for customers. They’ll ensure the store is stocked and ready for customers before unlocking the doors.
When customers arrive, the primary responsibility of a Retail Sales Associate is to help customers find the
merchandise they need and answer any questions they might have. They may also assist at the cash registers and
help with stocking shelves as needed.

Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Track record of achieving sales quotas

- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, intensive, physically demanding and crowded environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
- BSc in Marketing or related field is a plus
- Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies
