JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a reliable, accurate and efficient Part Time Associate to join our exciting team! A friendly and outgoing personality as well as strong communication skills are a must!

The part time sales associate is responsible for generating sales by delighting our customers in all interactions, maintaining store visual presentation and adhering to operational procedures. They are relatable to customers from all walks of life by being engaging and optimistic about interaction. This position can evolve into full-time and management for the right candidate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Greet, engage, and determine customers' needs in the store to ensure a customer focused environment with outstanding service

· Take pride in achieving personal selling goals and contribute to the store achieving monthly sales goals and in educating self on all product knowledge.

· Maintain store appearance and cleanliness

· Communicate information about quality, value, and style of various product lines

· Utilize retail POS system

· Process incoming inventory

· Adhere to daily opening/closing duties

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

· High School or above preferred

· Ability to examine issues both strategically and technically

· Ability to determine and shift priorities quickly

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must

· Hours will vary and are to be determined. Holiday, evenings and weekends included

· Must be 21+ to apply

· Previous retail experience preferred

· Must be able to work independently, identifying tasks that need attention.

· Physical requirements: professional appearance, ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions, climb ladder, reach above the shoulders, perform repetitive tasks such as oiling/waxing cutting boards.
