We invite you to join our Dermatology Department at Scripps Clinic in Encinitas.

In this role as a Clinic RN, you will be working in a fast-paced clinic with high patient volumes. You will consistently be on your feet and expected to do the following:

• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Lead four Medical Assistants and two LVNs to keep within scope of practice.

This is a Full Time (80 hours every two weeks) benefited position, working 8-hour day shifts Monday-Friday, typically from 8:30am-5pm. Located at Scripps Clinic in Encinitas. Travel to La Jolla (Torrey Pines & Shiley Medical Pavilion) required on an as needed basis, likely once per quarter.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma

Required Certification/Registration:

• CA RN license
• BLS from American Heart Association required in a clinical setting

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• BSN
• Epic experience
• Outpatient experience
• Dermatology experience
