RN Supervisor Job Description:

Primary purpose of this job is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities on your particular unit of the facility. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

RN Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Nurse by the state he/she is working in or have a temporary license
• Working knowledge of restorative and geriatric nursing
• Recognize significant changes in the condition of the residents and take necessary action
• Apply therapeutic treatment
• Ability to carry out technical oral and written instruction
• Assign, observe and evaluate those under his/her direction
