RN Plus Emergency Department Program

The HCA RN Plus Emergency Department Program provides a pathway for HCA Healthcare Acute Care Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Registered Nurses to transition into the Emergency Department Specialty

12 – Week Training for experienced RNs

• Five (5) weeks of interactive classroom discussions, case studies, hand-on skills training, and simulations with experienced StaRN clinical instructors
• Seven (7) weeks of unit-based clinical preceptorship

Days of high-fidelity simulation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of RN experience (non-critical care areas)
