- Department: Staffing Resource Center - Northwest Regional Float Pool - ICU, ED, OR
- Schedule: PRN Nights 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. with weekend and holiday commitment required
- Hospital: Will float to 3 hospitals within the region
- Location: Hoffman Estates, IL, Des Plaines, IL, Elk Grove Village, IL, Elgin, IL, Aurora, IL, and Kankakee, IL
Provide direct nursing care in a diverse healthcare environment in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Primarily floats to one or more specialty units as defined by market.
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
- 1 year RN experience in ICU, ED, or OR required
