The Job Role
- Day to day management of Health and Safety and Compliance strategy, Risk Assessments and Compliance policies.
- Ensuring that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Management of the training requirements in conjunction with Training Manager and HOD
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance is in place.
- Participating in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters.
- Keeping up to date on changes to Health & Safety legislation.
