Express Eco is looking for a Team Lead to help assist and encourage our customer service team. Express service starts with our Attendant team. As a Team lead you will be a part of that team working shifts alongside our attendants, but you will also be able to lead and assist them with everything from customer conflicts to machine maintenance.

As a Team Lead, your responsibilities would include:

• Going out of your way to assist every customer with Express Eco customer service
• Coach all customers about our mission and our machines
• Exemplify teamwork
• Effectively maintaining our store’s Earth-Friendly environment and the Express Eco standard of cleanliness
• Giving our First-Time customers an extra special welcome
• Telling each customers our Story and why our impact on the environment is so important.
• Demonstrating to everyone that we are the friendliest and most welcoming place in town
• Lead the attendants and equipment at all 3 Salem stores
• Repairing and maintaining our machines
• Assisting our customers that need additional support, beyond the abilities of our attendants
• Cover attendant shifts when call outs occur
• Be on call on nights and weekends for any urgent situations for example: safety concerns, machines leaking, or clothes being stuck in a washer
• Training new hires according to all company policies and guidelines
• During times the manager is out of town the Team lead will perform collections, write the schedule for attendants, Order cleaning supplies as needed
• The Team lead may be required to attend virtual meetings on Monday and Friday as requested
• Working 35 hours/week or more

Skills Required for this Position:

• Laundry and/or Customer Service experienced preferred.
• Weekend and/or Evening availability
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Reliable transportation.
• Reliable and Self Motivated
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to coordinate multiple employees availability to ensure coverage for our stores
• Comfortable with basic technology and reporting
• Ability to Maintain professional relationships with clients of our wash and fold business as well as the vendors we work with

Compensation starts at $16.50 per hour and monthly laundry stipend for a candidate that meets all of the above requirements.

Schedule: Thursday to Monday; plus availability for staff needs, concerns and ensuring shifts are filled daily. Schedule is flexible with proper management of staff.

Ideally located in the Salem Oregon area covering three stores that are located in Salem with commuting between the three.

Education: College Degree or equivalent (preferred)
