We are going out a limb here because we have several different needs, and we are hopeful the perfect someone is out there...

Sales Associate doesn't fully describe this position, but we can start here. :) Sales experience is a must (preferably in the high-end/luxury market) with an emphasis on impeccable customer service. The ability to complete a sale from start to finish, including, but not limited to, working directly with customers in over-the-counter sales, as well as custom projects, acting as a liaison between the custom design artist and CAD team to ensure that the customer's jewelry vision is brought to life, ordering diamonds/gemstones from various vendors, providing the prompt and secure return of any items that are not needed, running monthly reports and reporting to vendors for memo items that are sold, displaying and merchandising jewelry/gemstones, etc.

Additional to the sales position (which would be about 1/3-1/2 of the job), we are looking for someone interested in learning how to run the manufacturing equipment. This is a time-sensitive process with nuances that affect the end product that is important to incorporate. Extensive training would be offered, but a comfort level with machinery would be helpful.

Flexibility would be important (it always is in retail) :). But, for this position, the exciting part would be overseeing a project from start to finish when it is presented t the customer.

Let's face it, you can buy jewelry anywhere-even online-yikes, so our goal is to offer the best experience, with the best presentation, with the highest quality jewelry, with the best follow-up, all while sharing as much knowledge as possible to help the customer make a very well informed decision before they spend their hard-earned resources. If your sales experience requires/required you to push the customer, this isn't that type of environment-we NEVER want to come across pushy. Most jewelry purchases are for memorable occasions; we want the experience of buying/creating the jewelry to be almost as special as the occasion. (Nothing beats the occasion) :)

Most of our customers want custom designs (who can blame them-we LOVE making unique pieces). We have brought every single step of custom design and manufacturing (EVERY step) into our store. This is the best way we have found that can control the quality (which is never compromised) and give the customer exactly what they are looking for in a VERY quick turnaround. (Really-Who wants to wait weeks??)

Our team is only second to our customers. We are far from perfect, but we genuinely value each person and do what we can as often as possible to show them.
