Sales and Promotions Coordinator, Kansas City

We are hiring a Sales and Promotions Coordinator who will be responsible for execution and fulfillment, tracking, and recapping of our radio stations and sports network events, contests, and client campaigns. Responsibilities:What You'll Do:
Execute radio station promotions and sales campaigns including but not limited to the following formats: Sports, Country, Hot AC, Active Rock, Alternative, Urban, and more.- Set up and staff station events and remote broadcasts
- Conduct on-site contests
- Create social media posts on Facebook and Instagram
- Create fun culture events in the workplace
- Manage the execution for all local contracts with support from the legal
- execute brand and sales promotions
- Act as liaison between programming and sales in the management of client expectations
- Work closely with corporate legal department to ensure all contests and promotions meet company requirements/guidelines
- Assist with Station Brand Development in conjunction with specific Brand Managers and SVP/Market Manager
- Assist with client/partnership development in conjunction with SVP/Market Managers, Brand Managers, and Sales Managers
- Attend sales meetings, client meetings, and station meetings as needed
- Work with city, local, and community groups with station presence & community outreach
Qualifications:
- First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
- Experience using Google Workspaces and other workplace platforms
- Occasional night or weekend work with events
- must have a good driving record
- must be able to lift and carry equipment
- 1 year experience executing marketing and promotions campaigns
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred but not require
- A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
