Looking for the sweetest job in town? We are looking to hire 1 team member for our store at the Desert Hills Premium Outlets to be a catalyst to sales, culture, and brand.

We are a candy manufacturer based in Palm Springs, Ca with a focus on toffee based indulgences such as our award winning almond toffee and toffee popcorn. Our passion for sharing the joy of toffee started in 2006 with, you guessed it, a great story. Our founders started Brandini Toffee at 16 years old on a mission to fundraise for a student trip to Italy.

16 years later Brandini Toffee has expanded to 4 company operated toffee shops, a worldwide mail-order business, and a long list of prestigious brands that we’re proud to say distribute our products. We have been featured on the Martha Stewart Show, Oprah’s O List, The Food Network, and our product has even been served to the President of the United States.

A sales associate is responsible for the total customer experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in communication, sales and general people skills. This person must promote a company culture that encourages integrity, positive spirit and excellence.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Meet/Exceed Sales Goals
o Drive volume through product sampling
o Increase average order value
o Upselling and cross promotion
o Motivate and empower team members to support store goals
o Name/email capture for rewards program
o Proactively seek out local partnerships to increase brand awareness and business development.
o Customer satisfaction and loyalty
o Effective understanding and communication of brand messaging

Retail Operations

o Opening and closing, cash management, Point-of-Sale use
o Processing of made-to-order ice cream products
o Product sampling infront of store
o Comply with inventory control procedures
o General sanitation duties of maintenance of store cleanliness and organization

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Retail, restaurant, or hospitality experience would be preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior customer service skills and service driven
• Friendly, positive and professional disposition when interacting with guests, vendors and team members
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all occupational/food safety regulations and operating procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Enthusiasm for sweets and interest in expanding knowledge of the industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry weights of up to 30 pounds at varying frequencies
• Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
