About the job

The Sales Associate is responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and account penetration within the assigned territory and providing an exceptional customer experience. The job involves engaging and qualifying new clients, following up with qualified leads, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to problem-solve, and successfully position and sell Psomagen’s services.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of Psomagen’s services and solutions

• Analyze existing and potential customer’s needs; assist and guide in selecting the most effective solutions
• Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a consultative and relationship-focused approach
• Has the ability to take ownership of behavior and learn from each experience to become more effective in subsequent sales scenarios

• Works effectively in a team environment to drive overall business and enhance customer interactions

Minimum Qualifications

• Have excellent interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of an organization.

• Have strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and effectively in a self-directed, proactive, results-oriented environment.
• Can build credibility, integrity, and confidence with the customer.

• Located near Rockville, MD.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S., preferably in Biology / Genetics or equivalent life sciences preferred but not required

• 2+ years of experience in a Life Science laboratory, a sales role, or a related field with customer-facing experience preferred but not required

• Proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required
