Seneca Environmental is seeking a PART-TIME Sales Associate. This position is 100% remote.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with business concepts and the renewable energy sector specifically. A basic understanding of power markets and the mechanisms companies use to buy electricity and achieve carbon reduction for their Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions will provide an advantage to candidates.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support vetting and researching customer leads
  • Support business development efforts including but not limited to updating database to track business development opportunities and contacts
  • Support customer meetings
  • Collaborate with Business Operations Manager and the Communications team on content creation for website

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in Sales (Preferably in the Solar or renewable energy industry)
  • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research in social justice, environmental, policy, energy, economic, or other human-centered disciplines
  • Strong writing and note-taking skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency working in Customer Relationship Management and Project Management software

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated technical writing abilities in academic or professional settings
  • Experience working in the clean energy field
  • Experience working with communities traditionally excluded from the clean energy space (low-income, BIPOC, frontline communities)
  • Experience working with Google Earth (or similar software), Helioscope, Energy Tool base a plus
  • Experience with financial modeling a plus

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $20/hour to $20/hour However, Seneca Holdings considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
