We are looking for a motivated wine professional to join our team. This hybrid position in tales covering the duties of our cafe and bottle shop. We operate a cafe/bottle shop Tuesday through Saturday from 9am till 3pm, then Sunday from 11-3pm. For those hours we are looking for someone to actively sell the wine and beer we stock in our shop. Selling the wine will involve communicating with guests about preferences and learning the selection we carry. Will for the cafe portion, you will need to be proficient in pulling espresso drinks and preparing any cafe items purchased. Ideally, this person will come with an ability to describe wines form various regions, styles, and flavor profiles. We are looking for someone with experience either selling wine at a restaurant or another bottle shop. Cafe experience is not required but preferred. Regular duties such as stocking shelves, prepping cafe items, cleaning the cafe and bottle shop will also be apart of your duties.
