Working independently, exercising good judgment and discretion in executing and developing the Sales Department within Club Sports. Handling all Human Resource requests for concessions and pro-shop. Oversee all scheduling for staff both concessions and pro-shop. Ensure every new hire and sports team is trained and prepared for their position. Oversee all inventory and ordering of the eight concession stands. Recruit, schedule, and oversee all concession CSER.Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Manage Internal Department Human Resources requests for sales staff.
2. Oversee scheduling for sales staff.
3. Training sales staff and Club Sports Teams.
4. Inventory and Ordering.
5. Oversee all Club Sports Concession's CSER volunteers.
6. Remains abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services and leading industry performance benchmarks.
7. Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for two Graduate Assistant positions and forty student workers.
Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies
Four-year college degree, with a concentration in Sales, Hospitality or Leadership, 1 + years in an office environment functioning with 1+ of those years in a management capacity. Strong experience required in sales with knowledge of hospitality or concessions. Well-developed communications skills both verbally and written.
Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature. Excellent computer and organizational skills. Regularly lift 50 or fewer pounds.
