Sales Director-National Accounts
Monday-Friday Full-Time, Various Shifts

R+L Carriers is actively seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Sales Director of National Accounts to sell industry leading transportation services. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position requires extensive travel on a recurring basis. This individual will focus on major national accounts, developing and maintaining relationships, new business development, negotiating, and expanding market share, revenue, and customer base.
Responsibilities will include:
- Educating our customers on all domestic and global transportation services R+L Carriers offers.
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Trouble-Shooting and providing solutions for specific customer problems
- Gain targeted market share in key lanes
- Target key national accounts in selected industries
- Promote market awareness and visibility
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals
- Stay educated and understand market trends and competitors within assigned territory
- Promote corporate image and culture
- Other duties as assigned by the VP of Sales
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in LTL Sales.
- Preferred candidates will have experience in National Account Sales.
- Ability to travel extensively on a regular basis
- Excellent listening and communications skills, team building, and administrative skills are imperative
- A working knowledge of traffic, pricing and national accounts is required
- Must be computer literate with Windows, Excel and CRM experience
