The Area Sales Engineer BeLux Process Filtration is a remotely based position and you may be located in either Belgium or southern Netherlands.
Job Purpose:

The successful Area Sales Engineer BeLux Process Filtration will focus on developing measurable results in the Process Filtration market. This will primarily be within the Food & Beverage industry.

This role would be a great opportunity for a proactive and driven person to enter a growing market for Donaldson, with all the necessary support from the team and other colleagues in EMEA. There is potential for growth in this role and the possibility to put your own mark on it.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Maximising sales turnover and profitability.
  • Identify and understand end-user application needs.
  • Market mapping and identifying (key) customers.
  • Utilize the current Donaldson network to open new revenue streams with existing accounts.
  • Prepare (virtual) presentations and other educational documents.
  • Ensure that all commercial aspects of sales transactions are in the best interest of the company.
  • Organize, plan and manage the sales of Compressed Air & Process products within BeLux.
  • Visit customers, potential customers and handle multiple projects.
  • Optimize sales and profit consistent with long-term objectives & initiate activities to increase brand awareness of Donaldson.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on activities, issues, and forecasts.
Your Profile:

The successful Area Sales Engineer must be self-motivated and a target-driven individual, with proven sales experience. A proven self-starter with the confidence and entrepreneurial flair to work in an autonomous role.
  • Technical Degree -Bachelor’s, Master’s or a High-School degree with experience.
  • Experience in a technical sales role or appreciation of technical products in a commercial environment selling into the process industries (may be a starter and/or have 5 years’ experience are welcome).
  • Experience of selling filtration medium or allied products into the Food & Beverage sector.
  • Have an understanding of the application of products and the feature/benefits of the service
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, OneNote).
  • A great client-oriented person and team player.
  • Knowledge of CRM 365, ERP and BI systems are an asset.
  • Fluent Dutch (spoken and written), English a must and good level of French.
