Your new company offers a highly controlled supply chain network made up of its own on-site design engineering and logistics teams, metal fabrication facilities and customer specific project management teams. This infrastructure ensures a streamlined and stress-free procurement and delivery process for our customer.
Your new role
This role covers the entire Irish market. The core objectives are to support the business in achieving the order intake and business development through management of the customer enquiry, and the quotation process. This is a technical sales role requiring knowledge of the industry. You will be based in Ireland and be part of the European Sales Group, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.
You will develop professional and respectful relationships with all stakeholders. Ensuring thorough understanding of customers’ needs are met through proactive communication with the customers and internal stakeholders. Managing existing customer key accounts and bring the voice of the customer into the organisation. Your role will consist of developing additional business opportunities with new and existing products, customers, and market segments. Other responsibilities will include maintaining all customer activities in a CRM. Attending industry events/trade shows as required. Support Marketing Activities, processing of quotations and order handover to our design and manufacturing organisation, providing support and information to customers when required and also providing support and information to management when required and mainly working with the rest of the sales team to promote the brand of the company.
What you will need to succeed
Having a qualification in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or extensive experience as an electrician in the manufacturing industry is required. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is of an advantage as well as having a knowledge of SAP. You should have the ability to work independently and on your own initiative as well as working as part of a team and having a strong desire to succeed. You must have the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally, understanding Microsoft Office is of an advantage. You must have a full clean driving licence as the roll does contain some travelling.
What you will get in return
A competitive salary of €40,000 - €55,000, DOE, benefits include 26 days annual leave. Based on-site for the first 6 months with the opportunity to work Hybrid after, the company may pay the full fee or a contribution fee to course fees on the commencement of the course at the discretion of the management and HR. Eligible for company sick pay benefit on completion of probation period.
Pension, subsidised canteen, and sports and social clubs are also available to all employees after successful completion of 6 months service.
