Sales Manager (Construction)
Our client is a leader in outsourced construction services. We are seeking a high-performing sales professional to join their team in Dublin and lead them in meeting our customer acquisition, revenue, and growth targets.
The successful candidate will have exceptional sales, business development, and people management skills and will support and work directly with our sales team. The candidate will be involved in the design of sales strategy and oversee the implement enabling growth in the market.
Core Responsibilities
Manage the overall sales function for the company while building their own territory/clients/area
Proactively work with and lead your team to support their success in achieving ambitious sales targets, driving further growth for the company.
Design, develop and oversee the implementation of a successful and strategic sales plan to further grow the company’s customer base and revenue.
Regularly report sales, revenue and expenses reports and forecasts to the management and leadership team.
Conduct ongoing research into emerging markets, marketplace changes and competitor’s activities to identify opportunities for the sales team and wider organisation.
Build, foster, and promote the successful development of long-term relationships with clients, to identify and fulfill their recruitment needs, ensuring the company are their go-to when it comes to sourcing candidates.
Qualifications & experience
Excellent interpersonal, relationship, mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
Exceptional communication skills with experience of successfully and effectively communicating, presenting, and influencing at all levels of the organisation.
Proven experience as a sales representative or sales manager and demonstrated ability in meeting and exceeding targets.
Proven ability to create and implement sales strategies and to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong strategic and critical thinker with an excellent ability for problem-solving and working as a team player.
Previous knowledge of and experience working in the construction industry, along with a strong business sense and expertise.
