The Role

  • You will be responsible for segmenting our client base, priority setting & target identification supported by data, analysis and insights.

  • Drive ongoing opportunity mapping and monitoring; provide data insights on opportunities to Sales & Client Management leadership across multiple lines of business to maximize potential outcomes.

  • Specifically for our New strategies, support with prospect identification/prioritization and product penetration analysis.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders within the business - locally, regionally and globally - in order to identify and develop joint account planning opportunities.

  • Working closely with marketing to develop and track performance of data driven client opportunities

  • Build strategies, schedule meetings, & set agendas with Sales & Client Management leadership, ensuring additional research across lines of business to support relevant projects and meetings.

  • Management of account plan action items, tracking follow up actions / ongoing monitoring, and consolidate information and report to Leadership to ensure opportunities are maximized.

  • Working with Learing & Development colleagues in the development and delivery of sales training to enable us deliver the best client experience.

  • Manage sales tools and ensure alignment with global sales methodology to ensure consistency in our offering.

  • Manage sales dashboards (Power BI) and distribute insights to ensure our clients changing needs are met.

  • Manage performance reporting alongside the Client Relationship Director and our Lead Relationship Managers for our largest clients.

  • Manage newly formed Business Development Team (x2 colleagues) to support delivery of opportunities, meetings and appointments for client facing colleagues

  • Monitor and report on overall Voice of Client using various client satisfaction metrics.

  • Ownership of Bid Management processes within selected lines of business, supporting delivery of the best of One WTW to all clients.

  • Delivery of Global sales enablement activities locally

The Requirements

  • Third level degree (preferably business related)

  • 5+ years experience working in an Operations or Project Management role

  • Experienced at new business sales process and track record of converting prospects to clients

  • Strong practical knowledge of account development and appropriate tools to achieve this aim

  • Skilled at building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to represent the Sales & Client Management practice and Willis Towers Watson with integrity and credibility

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills

  • Experienced in Microsoft tool – primarily excel and powerpoint

  • Previous people management and development experience

  • Professional exams preferred – (example: ACII, MDI, QFA, CFP)
