Position Title: Sales Support Coordinator
Location: East Coast, Remote/Hybrid

Role Description
The Sales Support Coordinator provides general administrative support to the Head Of Sales, VBI Americas as well as provides analytics and operational support for the execution of sales activities across VBI North America based accounts. They proactively monitor and manage sales tools and sales platforms to ensure data quality, content and analytics are aligned with agreed regional KPIs, to increase GAMs customer interaction. The Sales Support Coordinator will have good understanding of established concepts and procedures related to the Vodafone sales process, product, and service portfolio, bid and contract. This role will work directly with Sales Teams in region and globally to support on Americas sales teams to deliver KPIs.
Key Accountabilities
- Reports – Ensure that Vodafone systems (1SF Ignite, Lighthouse, OSR/Qlik) accurately reflect the Sales activities, using any historical data, trends, sales inputs or crosschecks; Ensure Sales understands the data and logic applied to produce report and detect any need on ad hoc reports. Ensure sales information and content is accurate in the sales management tools / systems.
- Analysis and Business Insights – Analyze various data sources to identify existing gaps and propose improvement actions that influence sales performance.
- Provides operational support to sales teams to maximize the potential of each customer by marshalling resource availability for help in responding to tender requests, RFPs, assisting in closing deals and to drive revenue growth.
- Assist with Executive Engagement plan to identify US decision makers and execute on the meetings and next steps.
- Research support and activities pertaining to the following: customer landscape, industry analysis, account plan development and competitor landscape.
- Tracking all RFI/RFP submissions in various portals, reporting on status and outcomes, analyzing loss/wins, and applying learnings to increase opportunity to win.
- To assist, on behalf of the Global Account Manager, in the on-going coordination and negotiation of in-life contracts (Master Service Agreements and Local Implementation Agreements), contract extensions, both proactive and reactive, commercial amendments between the customer organization/s and Vodafone Commercial, Finance, Legal, Service Management, and OpCo/Partner market functions.
- Promotion and Adoption – Make sure Global Tools and Processes are correctly understood and utilized across the Sales Community, executing the training or reinforcement activities that are needed.
- Supports Head of Sales with Travel and Diary and Expense Management
- Supports Event Management for local and overseas team meetings including agenda/content coordination.
Core Competencies
- Customer Service (internal and external): Help the sales team to improve their productivity; Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, are handled efficiently.
- Customer Relationship Management - Utilize in-house Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and scan for data accuracy
- Prepare sales reports and maintain/update CRM tool
- Experience of complex global organizations and ability to drive outcomes using matrix management and influencing, coping with ambiguity
- Knowledge of the telecommunications and technology environment, ideally mobile, fixed, IoT, Cloud and IT solutions experience
- Experience in Sales, Inside Sales, Sales Operations and Sales Strategy functions.
- Operational credibility proven through experience by working with sales-facing resources and regional sales leadership
- Strong analytical skills – able to gather and analyse data and make sensible suggestions
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal (relationship building) skills– able to explain the fundamentals of services/products/processes to customers and internal stakeholders
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of either
- Telecommunications industry, sales/customer support environment or RFI/RFP administration
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office suite, especially Excel. Experience working with a CRM system preferred
- High energy and a can- do attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – relationship building.
- Team player – flexible, driven, passionate, determined, strong influence, and relationship management skills.

Compensation Range
$64,000-$96,000/yr
Vodafone Americas is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
