One of Virginia's leading customer focused family business, specializing in world class unique furniture, rugs and accessories is seeking an (experienced or customer focused individual) as Sales Team Member to join our sales team at our Farmville, VA Main Street Campus.

Our sales team plays a key role in the success of our business through their ability to offer customers merchandise recommendations while moving them through the sales process. Team members display a strong customer focus, commitment to delivering quality solutions and maintaining effective customer relations that will achieve the highest customer buying experience and exceed sales goals or quotas.

The ideal candidate will have a full understanding and knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements for making various product recommendations. Have a desire to constantly learn and be innovative, improve delivery of services, with excellent visualization, conceptualization skills.

They must be self-motivated, with effective communication and problem-solving skills, driven to exceed established goals. Resilient - handles stress and rejection, and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Be available to work a flexible work schedule including Saturdays, which is a must.

High school diploma or equivalent. (inside retail sales experience a plus), Computer skills, strong math skills with working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs. Must have reliable transportation.

Must be able to successfully pass all required background check and other pre-employment screening.

Compensation: Hourly base + Commission
