Job Summary:

Perform data model design, leveraging ETL to move data from existing systems to Salesforce, and map and transform data sets for migration into or out of Salesforce.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Creates and maintains data integrations with the Salesforce application to ensure seamless and efficient flow of data.

Analyzes the data quality, aligns technical design to data governance, and addresses all the required non-business but operational requirements during the design and build of data pipelines.

Partners with Salesforce Administrators, Developers and other technical teams/data engineers to understand and aid in the implementation of new data functional solutions, analyze performance of new data integrations, and troubleshoot issues.

Collaborates with technical teams to develop test data for specific use cases required by operations team and project teams.

Creates and manages queries to analyze large and complex data sets for project or operational requests.

Develops and optimizes SQL statements using SQL Developer and Informatica, and creates tasks, task flows, queries and task/job schedules using Informatica Cloud ETL.

Assists with the evaluation and integration of third-party software and the preparation/delivery of data to and from approved external sources.

Troubleshoots issues with complex data mapping, and collaborates with team members, technical teams, customers or other departments to resolve.

Creates documentation which includes database objects affected, specifications, and flows/diagrams to detail the proposed data migration process for future data migrations into Salesforce.

Assists in the creation of test automation strategies as it pertains to how existing data can be leveraged.

Performs system management functions such as monitoring, disaster recovery, and backup.

Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Requirements:

Position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, and three years database management design and maintenance. Salesforce Administration or Salesforce Developer experience preferred. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Position requires experience in data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) development/management, and database design or data warehouse design; experience working with Salesforce APIs or migration tools preferred; experience working with SQL scripting, data orchestration/ETL tools, like Mulesoft or Informatica IICS, ingesting and outputting different file formats (i.e., .CSV files) and familiarity with data management: Data governance, data dictionary, data quality, HIPAA compliance, etc. preferred; knowledge of version control and configuration management processes and best practices is preferred; strong communication and organizational skills; willingness to learn new technologies and tools; and knowledge of data de-identification tools and processes preferred.
