About the role
You will be working on full life cycle projects and evolving our data-driven email marketing and communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
You Will:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform development including but not limited to journey builder, automation studio, content builder and data management.
- Experience delivering solutions within waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to design solutions involving the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Works closely with various collaborators to elicit, define and refine requirements for the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Apply and evolve standard methodologies for the development efforts within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
- Stay ahead of updates on Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform features and capabilities.
- Build SQL queries in Automation Studio to segment audiences
- Maintain and develop email templates within Marketing Cloud
- Develop and improve company’s user preference center with Marketing Cloud
- Develop and maintain templates within Salesforce Personalization
- Create and maintain Automations/Data Extensions and connector data transfer processes in Marketing Cloud
- Perform Administrator functions such as user management, profile configuration, data management, etc.
- Work with Salesforce, support vendors, and internal technical staff to solve and apply new features, upgrades, and patches
- Identify areas of improvement and make useful recommendations to increase operational efficiency and user adoption
- Develop documentation of current processes and future enhancements
You Have:
- 8+ years of demonstrated ability with software development.
- 5+ years of experience with SFMC, ideally in a developer role on at least 1 full-scale project.
- Superb communication skills, and ability to coordinate requirements with business partners, design & develop technical requirements.
- Ability to propose cost effective marketing technology solutions to address business challenges, including process improvements and governance standards.
- Work with other IT partners to design and implement customer journeys and marketing automation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including automation setup, Journey setup, Email and SMS communication channel.
- Good understanding of Subscriber schema and Audience builder within SFMC, Data mapping & Systems integration experience into marketing automation and service tools.
- Working experience with integrations to back-end systems, specifically with Salesforce CRM.
- Experience on REST/SOAP API integrations, SDKs.
- Working Experience in Salesforce Personalization is preferred.
- Working experience of MySQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server functionality. Understanding of star schema and complex data architectures.
- Working experience on server-side scripting languages, and protocols such as AMPScript, SSJS, SQL, SOQL, HTML, XML, JavaScript, HTTP, CSS, XSLT, AJAX, Jquery
Location & Travel:
- 2 Days a week in our Holmdel, NJ office, 3 days a week remote

Salary Range
$89,470.00 - $166,150.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
