Responsibilities

• Open store, turn on the OPEN sign, music & unlock doors
• Confirm all hair stations are ready for customers; make ready computer systems for appointments and cashiering
• Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper hair station and inform assigned stylist of their arrival
• Check their temperature
• Book and confirm appointments via phone
• Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts
• Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services, and schedule appointments based on availability
• Inform clients about new services and discounts
• Update client records with contact and billing details, appointments and services offered
• Maintain a tidy reception area
• Ensure the cash drawer has enough change; cashiering includes balancing at the end of the day.
• Coordinate problem solving with store manager as needed; problem solve any customer complaints
• Call late appointments
• Some salon errands
• Upsell clients on products and services.
• Do/help with Weekly inventory etc
• support many stylists (clean up after each stylist)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mckinney, TX 75071: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
