We are currently recruiting for a Sample Management Operator based at our client site in Kinsale

The primary purpose of this job is to support Sample Management tasks within a busy pharmaceutical lab environment.

The successful candidate will be working within a high performing team and working to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.

Some of the tasks are:

Responsibility to ensure that all expected samples have been taken and reach their correct destination with 100% accuracy and completeness.

Responsibility for sorting samples in lab and delivering all relevant samples to their correct destination (fridge/freezer)

Responsibility for spliting of bulk samples in the operating suites including preparation of BSC

Responsibility for the management of the retained sample process, including put-away, disposal, shipping and retrieval.

The successful person will act as a key point of contact for all requests/queries relating to samples from both operations and the lab

They will also have responsibility for inputting into relevant operating procedures and training materials, documentation review (logbooks, tickets etc.)

A Certificate in Bioprocessing (or greater), or a third level qualification in a scientific/engineering discipline is required

Plus a minimum of 1-2 years GMP experience (preferably within Sampling Operations).
