The Saute Cook is responsible for preparing meals that are not only healthy, but also delicious and visually appealing. A Cook will have strong communication skills and advanced cooking skills. Demonstrated experience with meal planning and preparation, as well as a willingness to research both traditional and cutting edge cooking techniques is a must. An understanding of dietary restrictions and special diets is also expected.
Responsibilities:
- Use safe food handling practices, including food-related safety knowledge and skills.
- Prepare and present menu items in a timely and quality manner with little direct supervision.
- Communicate effectively with customers, such as answering questions about menu items.
- Prepare food using quality ingredients and meet standards for safe food handling.
