Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Savvy Soap Seller at the Tower Grove Farmers' Market. As a Savvy Soap Seller, you will be responsible for setting up and tearing down the booth, selling handcrafted, vegan, all-natural, and sustainable soap, and providing excellent customer service. You will need to be knowledgeable about the product and able to communicate this knowledge to customers, in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and tear down the booth, including packing and unpacking products
• Sell our handcrafted, vegan, all-natural, and sustainable soap
• Engage with customers and provide excellent customer service
• Educate customers about the benefits and features of our products
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Keep the booth clean and organized
• Work independently and confidently
• Drive a small utility van to transport booth materials and products to and from the market
• Stand on cement for the duration of the market (approximately 5 hours)
• Have fun!

Requirements:

• Must live in the St. Louis area
• Must have a valid driver's license and be confident driving a small utility van
• Must have own transportation
• Must be able to work Saturdays, 6:30am-1pm (May-November)
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be honest and reliable
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Must be knowledgeable about the benefits and features of our products
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to stand on cement for the duration of the market

Compensation:

• $18 per hour
• 10% commission on sales

This is a part-time, seasonal position with the potential for additional work at other markets and events and the ability to grow with the company.
