Do you want to be part of delivering something truly remarkable? Apple’s SCG team is seek an experienced Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) to work with teams internal and external to Apple. The EPS role will focus predominantly on improving and streamlining the engineering team’s operations. This will include management of the team’s collaboration tools, financial budgeting and execution processes, design and execution of other key processes, and working with suppliers on material planning and logistics. Our teams feature a collaborative environment with creative people working on interesting problems. Through attention to detail, development of scalable processes, and clear communication, as an EPS you will make the Engineering team and the products they develop better.
Key Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated ability to understand business/organizational problem and implement solutions to address
- Familiarity with financial budgeting and financial execution concepts
- Experience with online collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, Quip)
- Attention to detail with desire and flexibility to learn and take-on new challenges
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Positive customer-first attitude
- Experience with PLM tools, Agile experience preferred but not required
Description
As an EPS you will work closely with various engineering teams, program managers, commodity managers, compliance teams, finance, and external partners. You will be responsible for: - Creating purchase requests, maintaining budgets, and facilitating budget development - Designing, implementing, and reinforcing the policies and practices for how the team uses collaboration tools for both internal and external facing efforts. - Designing, implementing, and executing business processes. - Managing the logistics of ordering and tracking parts for early prototyping and engineering builds If this sound like you, we would love to hear from you and explore how we can have you be part of our team.
Education & Experience
BS/BA degree, or 3+ years of industry experience.
