BayCare is currently in search of our newest Scheduler/Abstractor who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.
- Patient scheduling
- Procedure coding in Envision
- Patient charging, daily reconciliation, and post procedure record abstracting
- Price quotes, insurance verification and authorization
- Data entry and journaling
- Monthly statistical reporting
- Physician and patient liaison
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RHIT (Health Information)
Education:
- Required - High School or Equivalent
- Preferred - Associates - Health Information Technology
Preferred Experience:
- 1 year - Scheduling / Related Field
