Our 92-unit senior care campus offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care suites, is hiring a detail-oriented Full-Time Scheduler/ Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will organize and schedule appropriate nursing department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. You will also work as a caregiver half of the time. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday with occasional work on weekends and on-call except every other weekend.

Shift: Day (9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm)

Pay: $21 to $25 / hour depending on experience

Scheduler/ Caregiver responsibilities:

• Coordinate schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department 2 weeks in advance.
• Work as a caregiver half of the time.
• Work in tandem with Director of Health Services to ensure consistent coverage of units.
• Fill in as a Caregiver as needed with scheduling conflicts.
• Take weened duty calls as assigned.
• Coordinate with nursing supervisor to help cover on-call responsibilities to help cover shifts.
• Interview candidates for open caregiver positions.
• Conduct reference checks and background checks for potential employees.
• Complete daily budget report for all nursing hours.
• Submit worked hours to payroll department for biweekly payments.
• Track all nursing assistant hours, bonuses and maintain accurate payroll records.
• Complete payroll and process every 2 weeks.
• Track vacation requests and approve with Director of Health Services input.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Scheduler/ Caregiver skills and requirements:

• 6+ months of prior staffing/scheduling experience required.
• Must have flexibility in scheduling.
• We prefer you to be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Must have experience working in Long Term Care or Assisted Living.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to effectively work with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Must be willing to help educate and mentor staff.
• Must be 18 years or older.
