LINCOLN - SUDBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT390 LINCOLN ROADSUDBURY, MA 01776EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY2023-2024 SCHOOL YEARJOB POSTINGTitle: School Psychologist/Clinical Counselor (1.0 FTE)Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is looking for a full-time school psychologist/clinical counselor starting August 2023. The person will be completing psychological testing for students that are in the process of being evaluated to determine eligibility for an Individualized Education Program (IEP), including initial and 3-year re-evaluations. The person may also be asked to conduct evaluations as part of the 504 process, as well as also carry a clinical caseload of students as a member of a House team.Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to): *Conduct psychological testing as assigned*Attendance at IEP and 504 meetings*Attendance at school-based faculty and department meetings (during the school day and/or periodically on Wednesday afternoons)*Direct clinical service delivery to students as determined by their IEP or 504 plan, or to general education students as recommended by the House Team.Qualifications: *Masters degree required from an accredited college or university*Licensed, or eligible for licensure in School Psychologist or School Adjustment Counselor by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (MA DESE)Experience assessing students using the follow tools: *Wechsler Scales (WAIS-IV, WISC V or WASI) *BASC III*BRIEF II*Subtests from the WRAML or D'KEFS if the student's disabilities fall under those areas*Vineland 3 /adaptive behavior *Any other appropriate testing*Experience writing reports and summarizing the results in a manner that is comprehensible to families, staff and students*Competency assessing students with different disability categories and/or multiple disabilities*Culturally responsive and able to understand how students backgrounds may impact test results*Experience with the IEP team and 504 meeting process, or other House Team meetingsExperience Preferred: *Experience as a school counselor or clinical counselor*3 + years educational teaching environment preferred*High School experience preferredAdditional Qualifications: *Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills*Proficiency in current technology*Ability to work in partnership with other members of the professional communityLincoln Sudbury values diversity and strongly encourages bilingual and/or candidates of color to apply.
