Essential Duties
- Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy yet productive and smoothly run office.
Takes and transcribes dictation of various types, including correspondence, reports, notices, and recommendations for administration.
Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of cumulative and confidential files, and processes incoming correspondences.
Maintains a schedule of appointments and make arrangements for conferences.
Process incoming and outgoing records on students.
Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort.
Maintains such student records as shall be required.
Receives and routes all incoming call, records messages promptly and courteously.
Maintains daily teacher attendance records, records of substitutes; forwards reports to payroll clerk monthly.
Assists teachers in preparing instructional materials with prior approval of Principal.
Administers first-aid to children (only in cases of minor injury).
Maintains student attendance registers and files report with the School Board Office monthly.
Performs such other secretarial and clerical duties as may be assigned by the Principal.
