The Securities & Derivatives Associate Analyst is a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Treasury Operations Associate Analyst:

Treasury Operations (TROPS) provides trade support for G10 Markets Treasury NAM trading desks in NYC & Toronto. The TROPS department is made up of two functional groups: Processing & Investigations. Together the two groups are responsible for the pre-settlement, settlement, post-settlement, and various reporting functions related to Money Market trades processed in QFXLM. The Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2 is an entry level role responsible for assisting the function with any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to facilitate multiple complex transaction types from end to end, including escalation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing operational processing support through transaction services and/or investigations includes but is not limited to:
• Provide trade support for bank funding operations including same-day high-value payment release ensuring intraday settlement occur timely and within critical end-of-day wiring deadlines
• Responsible for U.S. Federal Reserve & Canada closes Managing complex deal modifications, corrections and cancellations while analyzing impact of cash settlements on Citi’s operating accounts and minimizing counterparty risk.
• Performing foreign currency and USD reconciliations and forward-looking forecasts for trade blotter reporting.
• Executing confirmations and escalating/reporting risk items to management, counterparties, and front office trading partners.
• Maintaining, investigating, reporting on customer static data and historical trade information.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
