Responsible for promoting safety and security throughout the property while verbally interacting with Team Members, Guests, visitors and vendors. The Security Dual Rate Supervisor will help supervise the Casino’s Security functions and Team Members.

Tasks:

• Supervises the daily activities of the Security Department staff on an assigned shift, performing activities such as training assigning work and evaluating performance.
• Completes Time & Attendance tasks for Team Members such as verifying time cards, scheduling and issuing attendance points.
• Monitors assigned area for unusual activities, approach and discourage loiterers and panhandlers.
• Assists with the removal of disruptive individuals from the Casino property.
• Dispels tense situations using verbal de-escalation skills.
• Follows procedures reporting to control to call police or fire departments in cases of emergency.
• Circulates among guests, visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Answers alarms and investigates disturbances.
• Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or infractions of rules and ensure security of automobiles, doors, windows and gates.
• Utilizes the appropriate iTrak documentation process to record all activities that affect the Chicken Ranch Casino property, Team Members and Guests. Reports daily activities to direct supervisors and/or Security Manager.
• Directs subordinate personnel in Chicken Ranch Casino activities and security functions, utilizing knowledge of established policies, procedures and practices.
• Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Experience, Qualifications and Education:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
