Job Description

The Security Information Technology Analyst performs technical assignments applying knowledge on specific systems or applications. Ensures uninterrupted access to all telecommunication features in support of Test and Evaluation efforts. The analyst will coordinate, plan, execute and report on Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessment (CVPA) and Adversarial Assessment (AA). The analyst will also collaborate with other DoD Agencies to identify Cyber Vulnerabilities, define attack vectors, evaluate operational cyber defense capabilities and the operational mission effects of those cyber threats acting within the system’s intended operating environment.

Duties

• Participate in Test and Evaluation (T&E) Integrated Process Working Groups (IPTs) and other meetings to facilitate planning and coordination.
• Identify, collect, and analyze program information.
• Using CSAT provided templates, support development of Cyber Data source Matrix (DSM), Cyber Master Evaluation Framework (CMEF), Cyber Requirements Traceability Matrix (CRTM), and Data Collection Forms.
• Support development of Cyber Test Plans, Cyber Test Reports, Briefings such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and Quick Look Briefs (QLBs)
• Participate and collect data in CVPA and AA events.
• Participate in Data Authentication Group (DAG) to verify and validate findings.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Requires an Associate’s degree; OR
• Minimum of 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of experience; OR
• At least 6 years of experience is required without education component
• Excellent knowledge of a variety of network systems, including wired, wireless, LANs, and WANs.
• Good understanding of telecommunications equipment such as fiber optics, satellites, routers, and switches.
• Proficiency in networking systems such as Avaya, Cisco, and NEC.
• Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
