Now Hiring Security Officers in the Reston, VA area! Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Looking for afternoon/evening availability.

DCJS License and Driver's License are required for this position.

The Security Officer is accountable for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our security officers

• act as a visible deterrent to crime
• identify and report suspicious, dangerous, or criminal acts
• perform foot patrol in outside environments
• monitor CCTV
• operate a two-way radio
• produce and maintain different security operations reports and forms
• provide guidance and directions to guests

Successful candidates must have

• excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills
• two (2) years of security experience
• Active DCJS
• proficient two-way radio communication skills
• CCTV and dispatch experience
• a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• the ability to successfully complete a background and drug screen in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• the ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to walk, patrol for a complete 8-hour shift
• a valid U.S. Driver's License - required

Hours:

• (Part-time and Full-time)
• 4pm-12am and 12am-8am
